Nitrogen Parameters is certified by IRRI in 2002. The International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) is the world’s premier research organization dedicated to reducing poverty and hunger through rice science, improving the health and welfare of rice farmers and consumers and protecting the rice-growing environment for future generations. IRRI is an independent, nonprofit, research and educational institute founded in 1960 by the Ford and Rockefeller foundations with support from the Philippine government. The institute, headquartered in Los Banos, Philippines. The 4 and 6 Panel LCC we have developed for IRRI is a generalized one which can be used worldwide.


PhilRice - Philippines

Nitrogen Parameters collaborated / certified with Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice) is a government corporate entity under the Department of Agriculture created through Executive Order 1061 on 5 November 1985 (as amended) to help develop high-yielding and cost-reducing technologies so farmers can produce enough rice for all Filipinos. Nitrogen Parameters manufactured a Leaf Color Chart which was specifically done for PhilRice.


NRRI - ICAR, Cuttack, Odisha, India

Nitrogen Parameters Collaborated / Certified with National Rice Research Institute (NRRI) is one of the Institutes of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) India under the Division of Crop Sciences in India. In collaboration with NRRI a new 5 Panel Customized LCC is developed for N management in rice for different ecologies on the basis of spectral evaluation of leaves of hundreds of HYVs and local cultivars grown in Eastern India under different levels of N applications. The 5 panel Customized LCC (CLCC) is given in a matte laminated folder with more details of the usage of CLCC in different languages.


PAU - ICAR, Ludhiana, Punjab, India

Nitrogen Parameters Collaborated / Certified with Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) is one of the leading Agricultural University of the country and awarded as the "Best Agricultural University of 2011". In collaboration with PAU 6 Panel LCC has been developed for Paddy, Basmati Rice, Wheat, Maize, Baby Corn and Cotton. It has been developed keeping in view the spectrum properties of varieties popular in India. Moreover it is suitable to accommodate the varietal differences if any. The 'Lalton Khurd' village of Ludhiana district of Punjab state India was adopted by PAU & Nitrogen Parameters to develop it as a 'model village' for site specific need-based management of fertilizer nitrogen using leaf color chart (LCC) in cereal crops Paddy, Basmati Rice, Wheat, Maize & Cotton.


IIMR - ICAR, Hyderabad, Telangana, India

Nitrogen Parameters Collaborated / Certified with Indian Institute of Millets Research (IIMR) Hyderabad, India, one of the Premier Institute of ICAR, is a Government organization for promoting research and increasing the production of millets with a view to help especially the dry land farmers thereby increasing the demand for the products while providing nutritious food at affordable prices to the public at large, especially the economically poor classes. IIMR which falls within the mandate of ICAR-IIMR as it is the only National Institute mandated to do research on Millets. In collaboration with IIMR, 6 Panel LCC has been developed for Sorghum (Jowar), Pearl millet (Bajra), Finger millet (Ragi) crops.


TNAU - ICAR, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, India

Nitrogen Parameters collaborated / certified with Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) had its genesis from establishment of an Agricultural School at Saidapet, Madras, Tamil Nadu, as early as 1868 and it was later relocated at Coimbatore. In 1920 it was affiliated to Madras University. TNAU assumed full responsibilities of Agricultural Education and Research and supported the State Agricultural Department by delivering research products. Till 1946, the Agricultural College and Research Institute, Coimbatore, was the only Institute for Agricultural Education for the whole of South India. In 1958, it was recognized as a Post-graduate Centre leading to Masters and Doctoral degrees. Apart from these academic institutes, the University now has research programs at more than 32 stations, spread over in Tamil Nadu with more than 1200 scientists and teaching faculty. We have developed / validated LCC for Rice Crop by doing research with the University.


UAS - ICAR, Raichur, Karnataka, India

Nitrogen Parameters collaborated / certified with University of Agricultural Sciences,  Raichur, Karnataka, India is privileged of being an oldest establishment for agricultural research in 1932 an Agricultural Research Station was established by the then Nizam’s Government of Hyderabad with a mandate to carry out research on dry land farming. After the reorganization of states in the country, Raichur was identified as the main research station for oilseeds. With the establishment of State Agricultural University in Karnataka in 1964 at Bangalore, it was elevated to Regional Research Station with a jurisdiction of five districts of Northern Karnataka. We have developed / validated LCC for Rice and Maize Crops by doing research with the University.


UAS - ICAR, Dharwad, Karnataka, India

Nitrogen Parameters collaborated / certified with University of Agricultural Sciences Dharwad, Karnataka, India. The University has 5 Colleges, 27 Research Stations, 6 Agriculture Extension Education Centers, 6 Krishi Vigyan Kendras and ATIC. The University has its jurisdiction over 7 districts namely Bagalkot, Belgaum, Bijapur, Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri and Uttar Kannada in northern Karnataka. Greater diversity exists in soil types, climate, topography, cropping and farming situations. The Jurisdiction includes dry-farming to heavy rainfall and irrigated areas. Important crops of the region include sorghum, cotton, rice, pulses, chilli, sugarcane, groundnut, sunflower, wheat, safflower etc. The region is also known for many horticultural crops. In collaboration with UAS Dharwad, 6 Panel LCC has been developed for Sugarcane crop.


KAU - ICAR, Thrissur, Kerala, India

Nitrogen Parameters collaborated / certified with Kerala Agricultural University, Thrissur, Kerala, India. The University has eight colleges (four Agriculture, one Agricultural Engineering, one Forestry, one Co-operation Banking & Management, one Climate Change and Environmental Sciences), six RARSs, seven KVKs, 15 Research Stations and 16 Research and Extension Units under the faculties of Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering and Forestry. In addition, one Institute of Agricultural Technology offering Diploma in Agricultural Sciences respectively is also functioning in Kerala Agricultural University. KAU has recommended and approved the quality of Nitrogen Parameters LCC and certified it for the use by the farmers.
